Didi Alcheva’s Next Excellent Adventure

Saturday, May 1st, 2010

How does a young girl in Bulgaria leave everything she knows, comes to the United States and begins to dominate in the highly competitive arena of internet marketing?

That’s what I discuss with Diyana (Didi) Alcheva in the latest segment of Kevin and the Giant Peach.

Didi is from a small town in Bulgaria where she lived for the first 12 years of her life. Her whole family moved to the capitol, Sofia, after she accepted into a prestigious high school, there. After some restless teenage years, she decided that she wanted to be an entrepreneur.

She started a few small businesses in Sofia but realized that to truly realize her dreams, she had to move to the U.S.. So, in 2005, Didi left everything that was familiar to her and did just that.

In her first month in the U.S., she was introduced to the network marketing industry. Although she struggled to accomplish much in the company she had signed on to, she was fortunate to be in the downline of Mike Klingler. At the time, Mike was venturing into the world of “attraction marketing” on the internet and formed Marketing Merge, a company dedicated to educating network marketers on the tools needed to attract prospects rather as opposed to the old tactics of multi-level marketing.

Didi went to work for Mike’s newly formed company as the “librarian” but went on to play a more important role when Marketing Merge partnered with Ann Sieg. Ann’s breakthrough product, Renegade Network Marketer e-book had captured the imagination of Mike Klingler. Although the Renegade Network Marketing System was a complete system it was missing just one thing. That thing was a simple-to-follow tutorial program. Mike and Didi and the Marketing Merge team set themselves upon the task of creating a series of 200+ video tutorials designed to train Mike’s downline on how to use the Renegade System. The original series was named, Renegade University – a name created by Didi – which was and is still offered for free at http://kevinmastaw.renegadeuniversity.com/. In the spring of 2009, Marketing Merge rolled out Renegade Professional which was an even more comprehensive training program built on the Renegade University platform.

In the following year, Didi Alcheva had become a brand name on internet marketing in her own right. She has garnered 100,000 followers on Twitter.com, almost 5,000 friends on Facebook and hundreds of thousands of people have viewed her down to earth educational videos on YouTube.

Now, Didi has left Marketing Merge and is venturing out on her own to create the Number 1 Entrepreneur News site at http://SocialMediaPress.com. While that’s exciting, what’s also exciting is that Didi will be developing this new online presence and offering to allow interested people to watch her do it, step-by-step, through her mailing list at http://www.DidiAlcheva.com.

Samantha Gardner : Be Careful About Pinning Your Hopes on Your Current Job

Friday, March 19th, 2010

On the show, last night, Samantha told her story of how she grew up in a Pennsylvania town where she watched as the steel industry, which supported that town, went into a rapid economic downward spiral.

Fortunately for her family, her father had been able to hold on to his research job at Alcoa and retire after 25 years. Even though Samantha’s father had preached to Samantha and her brothers that they should go to college, get good grades and get good jobs with big companies, he still obviously understood the importance of developing an income on the side through business ownership. He partnered in a venture as a tavern owner and worked there for several years after retirement.

Many people who work in large corporations understand, deep down, that pinning your future and your hopes on that job is precarious – and not secure by any means. They look outside the company’s walls and wonder if they could make it on their own. The answer is, “Absolutely! Yes, you can.” In fact, a large, increasing number of people are doing just that – cutting the umbilical cord with their company and starting new businesses.

These days, many people have no other choice. The mistake a lot of unemployed people are making these days is that they are out looking for the job that they had just lost. They have not come to the realization that those jobs do not exist anymore.

The only way to survive this and the future economic changes is to update your skills in sales and marketing. These skills serve anyone in any position in any organization or business.

As Samantha Gardner points out, one of the best ways to do this is through a training program called “Renegade Professional”, a joint venture between Ann Sieg and Mike Klingler. In fact, Samantha is a superguide and coach for the Renegade Professional program.

In the next post, I’ll explain more about what the Renegade Professional is.

Quit Being a Sucker and Get Paid For Your Time!

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

This video is actually several excerpts from the full interview which reinforces the idea that network marketing leaders should value their time and not feel guilty for getting paid to train people how to make 6-figures. Mike Klingler and Mike Sieg have put together a training program via the Renegade Professional that shows you how to do this if you choose.

Leverage is the Key!

Monday, June 29th, 2009

One reason people start businesses, whether traditional businesses or network marketing businesses, is to realize the power of leverage. Leverage simply means getting more out of an entity than what is put in ,initially. In this video, Mike Klingler and Ann Sieg point out the fact that the Renegade Professional training program is a great way for network marketing leaders to have leverage. They simply just need to plug their downline into the training and let it teach them how to successfully generate leads on the internet. Of course, once they have the lead, they need to work with them in the traditional way – phone call or face to face meeting – but at that point 90% of the work is done.

Better Relationships Through Technology

Saturday, June 27th, 2009

In this video, Mike and Ann talk about the fact that they have actually made more, high quality, relationships with the people that they’ve met online than with the old ways of network marketing prospecting and recruiting. I’ve experienced the same thing. (In fact, I met my wife through e-harmony!)

Network Marketers Need to Value Their Time

Friday, June 26th, 2009

In this video segment, Ann Sieg and Mike Klingler discuss the fact that most network marketers don’t properly value their time. In reality, most network marketers don’t put ANY value in their time training their downline at all!

This has never made sense to me. When someone “signs up” in a new opportunity, they will get nowhere unless they are properly trained in developing leads and then working those leads. This training has value. Without that training, all they have is a box of products.

What is the value of the training? It’s the value of a lifetime residual income – unless of course they joined the wrong company in the first place which means the value is the income that they’ll receive until the company goes out of business! The value of a lifetime residual income is priceless. Just ask Michael Jackson’s children.

What is Renegade Professional?

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

Rather than try to explain what Renegade Professional is, myself, I’ll let the authors explain it to you. In this video, Ann Sieg, the author of the Renegade Network Marketer, interviews Mike Klingler who created Renegade University. Renegade Professional is the result of the joint venture between the two:

How I Went From Being A Frustrated Network Marketer to A Renegade Network Marketer

Sunday, June 7th, 2009

After two years of building my network marketing “business” with Market America, I knew there had to be a better way. This was 2005. The internet was becoming THE PLACE to find and connect with people. I hated calling people on the phone. And I sensed that people didn’t want to be called on the phone.

So, I just stopped doing network marketing in that old, traditional way. I became a renegade network marketer.

Now, while it would be easy to slam the old methods – of making a names list and calling people on that list to offer them a chance to take a look at my “opportunity” – I do believe that methodology has its place in any business. It’s especially necessary when starting a new business. How do you find customers if you don’t let people know you have a product? How do you develop business partnerships if you don’t let people know you you have a business? The obvious first step, then, is to let people you know in on what you’re doing.

For most people, though, the list of friends, family and acquaintences who are going to be even slightly interested is going to be short. At some point, sooner or later, they have to go outside that circle. And internet marketing tools are perfectly made for conducting that expansion.

This is really what the Renegade Network Marketing System, Renegade Professional, and the Renegade Breakthrough Mentoring Program are designed to do. They are designed to put the prospecting, recruiting, and sponsoring part of ANY business online.

I bought the Renegade Network Marketing System in early 2008. The Renegade Professional and the Renegade Breakthrough Mentoring Program weren’t available until April 2 of 2009 – at which time I purchased them.

This has been money well spent. By following the teachings in these programs, in less than two months my business has been transformed from a little network marketing distributorship to my own internet marketing business. If Market America disappeared tomorrow, I would still be in business. I am no longer dependent on that single stream of income. The Renegade Program has added several layers of profitibility above the Market America income – major layers of profitability.

And best of all, it’s fun. In the next post, I’ll talk more about the actual fun I’m having.
